Advocacy

Advocacy & Action

The League uses its positions to advocate on issues.

The League of Women Voters advocates or takes action on an issue or cause when there is an existing League position that supports the issue or speaks to the cause.

Take a look at League positions on a wide range of issues on the national, state and local level.
The League uses its positions to advocate for public policies, legislation and ballot measures which it believes would best serve the public interest and against proposals which are in conflict with those goals.
