As a supporter of the League, you can help provide educational information and voter registration opportunities, and promote civilized discourse on the issues that matter in our city. Becoming a League Supporter is an easy, efficient way to make a difference in our community all year long.

How Will Your Funds be Used?

Donate to the LWV Palo Alto General Fund

We advocate for or against public policy issues after in-depth study by our members and adoption of “positions” by member consensus. The League may only take action on issues pertaining to our positions. For these activities, the League uses its General Fund as a nonprofit 501(c)(4) corporation (a membership organization that conducts advocacy and action). This donation is NOT tax-deductible.

Support the Local Impact Fund of your League of Women Voters of Palo Alto

Through Voter Services and Citizen Education, we work to provide fair and unbiased, nonpartisan voter information about elections, candidate views, ballot measures, the voting process, and public policy issues. This work includes our highly successful Voter Education Curriculum in the schools. For these activities, the League uses money from its Education Fund, which is a 501(c)(3) corporation (a nonprofit educational organization). This donation IS tax deductible.
