How to Get Started

Join our Mailing List. To receive our newsletter, future event notices, and action alerts, subscribe to our mailing list. You can also browse our past newsletters to find out what we’ve been up to lately.

Subscribe to our Event Calendar. We host online and in-person events, ranging from Speaker Series to candidate forums to issue-based discussions. Our LWVPA Board meetings are open to all members.

Connect with us on social media. Stay informed about League actions by following us on Facebook and Instagram. Watch recordings of League events on our YouTube channel.

Sign up for Action Alert emails. If you subscribe to our mailing list, you will receive occasional Action Alerts. Go to your Interest List to check and uncheck specific topics that interest you. We send emails about volunteering opportunities, events, actions alerts, and meetings based on which interests you check.

As a supporter of the League, you can help provide educational information and voter registration opportunities, and promote civilized discourse on the issues that matter to you. For Members

Choose how to pay:

Paying by direct bank transfer (ACH transfer) minimizes fees. You’ll need your financial institution's routing number and your account number.

Pay by credit or debit card.

Pay by check, payable to LWVUS. Your membership includes national, state and local membership! Print and complete this Membership Form (include the name and email address of any additional household member included in the dues amount.) Mail your check and membership form to: 3921 E. Bayshore Road, Palo Alto, CA 94303.

You will receive an online confirmation and an email receipt for your payment. Your membership dues payment will show up as three transactions on your account — one each to Palo Alto and California Leagues and LWVUS. You’ll be a member of all three!

Keep things simple by automatically renewing each year! Just select auto-renewal when you are paying your dues.

Renewing Your Membership

You will receive an email reminder to renew one year after your last renewal, with a link to renew on the LWV Member Portal.

If you have signed up for auto-renew, you will get a reminder that your membership is automatically renewing.

Update your Info

To update your contact information or view your past payments, go to the LWV Member Portal. To log in to the portal, enter the email address associated with your membership. You will be sent an email with a verification code to enter the code into the form. (You do not need a password.)
